How often should I take my pet to the vet?

Healthy adults: annual checkup. Puppies/kittens: every 3-4 weeks until 4 months. Seniors (7+ years): every 6 months. Geriatric (10+ for dogs, 15+ for cats): every 3-4 months. Add visits for any sudden health changes.
